I’ve been using different kinds of masks to give my skin the perfect and flawless complexion. Along the way I learned that a lot of hype or grand brand names don’t really give better results than a mere humble mask. The key for making the most out of a mask, as with any beauty product, is using it properly and matching it to your skin type.

Clay Masks

Who should use it?
Clay masks are great for oily skin. They absorb excess oil, prevent and heal acne and blemishes.

When should you use it?
These are great for summer, as skin gets very oily during hot and humid weather. Most of them should be used once a week.

Exfoliating Masks

Who should use it?
Exfoliators are great for all skin types.

When should you use it?
Exfoliators are great during summertime! Use an exfoliating mask if your skin tends to get very oily and your pores become clogged. However, avoid using exfoliating masks if you use exfoliators regularly as it may have a harsh effect on the skin.
